An alcohol extracted from mint oil, isolated at the end of the eighteenth century in Holland. In household remedies, only a few traces of menthol are used, whereas sophisticated laboratory equipment is capable of drawing from vegetable tissue their maximum therapeutic potential. It has a refreshing, softening and soothing effect, both in products for the body and in hair treatments.
